From Far away Richmond, Virginia, Eastern United States, my Abstract Painting had just been developed into a Sonic Music aid to support teachers, students and parents experiencing virtual learning, by At Light The Music, I didn't know anything about it either, still in total shock...for one, I live in Johannesburg how is this possible?.... Howdy! 2 things: 1 - Virtual learning is a massive challenge for educators, students, parents... (heck life is a challenge right now, can I get an Amen?) So this is just an opportunity to say a simple, enormous THANKS to all the teachers, students, and parents who are hanging in there, sticking with it, and finding ways to make it better. (And there are glimmers of hope, like this video chock full of student creativity!) 2 - At Light The Music, we've built a new way to help educators teach music: collaboratively despite virtual classes, and creatively because bands/orchestras/choruses are on hold right now.

And it works! We're super excited that teachers in Stafford County Schools and Chesterfield County Public Schools are empowering their students to connect, and to create and share music with our platform.

This is fun, student directed, imaginative, leaning, that students are saying is the best part of their school day! This video, is just a small glimpse of the enormous amount of creativity that we're privileged to see students engaged in!

The video highlights student work from our "Make Something" activity, when students in their virtual bands enter the virtual (Soundtrap) studio for the first time, and go crazy on the tools to compose and record anything at all, inspired by abstract art, and the support of their peers.   Transforming a Vintage Mannequin into a Unique Lamp Shade for Your Home Decor My home is my sanctuary, art gallery and art studio/family house so I live and breath Art.  I want to live in constant inspiration and ideas, I love to wake up in that kind of space. Natural light plays a huge part in my home, as light helps to project my Art giving my living room a gallery feel. But come evening, I just want to relax with my family, cook dinner and enjoy the evening in calmness. And that brings me to my Vintage Mannequin Stand I decided to turn into a night lamp stand.  I Love different light designs, for me, it completes an interior.
