FLOWERS IN A VASE PAINTINGS; ART BLOG BY MIABO ENYADIKE

 FLOWERS IN A VASE.

                       FLOWERS IN A VASE.

My birthday was last week and as usual, I was looking forward to my favorite bunch of beautiful, well cut Tulip flowers, from my husband.

You know the kind that you arrange, in a vase and put water in it....... well that was not to be.

Instead I received 24 pots of planted Tulips and a message attached, Happy birthday dear, It's time you have your own Tulip garden.

TULIP PLANTS

What! I said,." My preferred garden is in a vase".
The one that does not need tending or planting, then watering and nurturing.

 FLOWERS IN A VASE
What about my 7 yr old, playing his football around that area I asked? wondering, how on earth this is going to work.

Anyway, not one to be let down, I planted the Tulips.

Then I decided to paint me, my flowers in vases, at least to compensate for my disappointment.

Showing, just how I prefer my Garden.

FLOWERS IN MY PEN GARDEN. PEN AND INK FLOWER DRAWINGS: ART BY MIABO ENYADIKE

 FLOWERS IN MY PEN GARDEN

FLOWER ART  BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

Tulip flowers in a Vase: Pen and Ink: Drawing: 30cmx30cm: Miabo Enyadike

Drawing with a pen is another form of art I indulge in once a while. It is truly relaxing, but a little tricky.

Everything you need to quilt and sew at Shop.MyBluprint.com The good thing though, is this is for someone like me, who is hands-on, restless and free-spirited. A little bit of something dainty to work on keeps me grounded and I love that.

When I found this book in a flea market, it had all these wonderful gorgeous flowers in it, I knew I had to have it.

Tulips: Pen and Ink: Drawing: 25cmx30cm: Miabo Enyadike

The thought of drawing them in black and white was appealing to me, then came interpreting my thoughts about each flower on paper.

I used a black ink pen and that to me was daunting especially after several mistakes.

Finally, I cracked the code 'PATIENCE AND RESPECT' for the plant!.
This meant I had to read about each flower, I had selected to draw, let's be clear I hate biology.

Sunflower: Pen and Ink: Drawing: 30cmx30cm: Miabo Enyadike

Then I had to see them in real life, which meant going from one flower store to another.

I knew I was, wearing down the salespeople with questions, and not buying flowers from the store after all that questioning, was really annoying to the salesperson.

It did not matter. I was on a quest, and a few angry looks were not going to put me off.

I was going to draw these flowers ,they were important to me and I love a challenge.

Marigold: Pen and Ink: Drawing: 15cmx30cm: Miabo Enyadike

I eventually got all the information I needed, sat down, night after night and drew these flowers, just the way I saw them in my mind.

My interest in flowers stems from my love for natures colors and beauty.
flowers are part of nature and so they form part of our natural habitat and the presence of flowers and the subtle message, it brings with its calm beauty cannot be overemphasized...... Enjoy.

FLOWERS, FLOWERS, FLOWERS. ABSTRACT ART(FLOWER ILLUSTRATIONS) BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

Flowers, how they brighten and gladden, our hearts and lives.

They carry with them, untold joy bringing pleasure and satisfaction to us, knowing that we are indeed appreciated by the bearer of them.

It does not take away the significance of how this aspect of nature, colors our lives repeatedly.

                                                 Feather Grass

One passion I've had as an artist, is drawing, painting and crafting flowers.

Painting Supplies

Each time I am overwhelmed, by the sheer number of species that exist in our world, it is mind boggling.

The vibrant and vivid colors, that come with them is indeed an artist's dream, of a perfect color wheel or palette.

I often wonder what this earth would have been without flowers, if our LORD did not put them in.

Cranes Bill

Where there are no flowers, you find trees where are no trees, for instance the desert, you will still find a cactus plant, or a Joshua tree growing.

CONE FLOWER

They are just amazing and beautiful, and this is what maintains my passion for this subject over and over again.
