SPRING EDITION! ART/DESIGN/HOMEDECOR BY MIABO ENYADIKE

There is no secret, that I just adore flowers and plants. This love for flowers is baked in my Art aesthetics. I love to draw, paint and illustrate flowers the way I see them.

Most of my illustrations of flowers and plants, are created with Ink and water color, because it is the medium I love to paint with.

Color matters a lot, in my flower paintings and I express them in abstracts, still life and contemporary styles.
This edition of products that I have designed, reflects my affiliation to nature and its influence on my Art.
I termed this collection of flower paintings, my spring collection because this is spring, and there are so many lovely flowers springing up around us in our homes and surroundings.

PURPLE FLOWERS AND ALL THINGS NICE. ART FASHION DESIGN BY MIABO ENYADIKE

                          My Story

Flowers always brings a silent message with it, as a present, a gift, a painting or even on a product and that message is very simple and subtle in nature yet loving, caring, comforting and classy.

"I know the feeling, you know the feeling we all know the feeling, when we are in the presence of beautiful flowers".....Miabo Enyadike.

When I painted the the purple flower, I knew it would be nice on products, that people use often and are familiar with.

The calmness of the purple pansies I painted with Ink on paperboard, was a simple homage to spring time in Johannesburg, where I live.

I love the fact that this simple floral art of mine can be shared with everyone..

You can click on the pictures and buy these products.... Enjoy.

RED* BLUE* YELLOW* GREEN* PALLET: ABSTRACT ART BLOG: BY MIABO ENYADIKE

My paint pallet this year has being quite slim, I have relied on four colors to produce and create art and craft why? I don't know.... I just see myself drawn to different shades of Red, blue, yellow and green.

AFRICAN: ART ILLUSTRATION BY MIABO ENYADIKE

These very bold and striking primary colors, should not lay the foundation of an Art work, and they are quite scary to use, with an exception of green which is a calm secondary color, derived from yellow and blue.

                                CLICK AND BUY MY ART:

Lately I use these colors, in an intense way of not diluting or mixing the colors, to produce a certain hue or color. I just apply these colors directly, on the surface or material I'm working with, and keep going on.

For me, the inspiration behind the use of these four colors, I think stems from the basic and pedestal way Art is created in the villages of Africa and I love it!.

FLOWERS IN A VASE BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Whatever color, that is made available to the African village Artist, is used with gratitude and pleasure to create stunning colorful Art just
'The Way They See It'! interpreted in their own simple creativity.

This has been my ideal way of painting, but lately I have come to realize that it is my way of painting, creating 'Art The Way I See It', with my own narrative, devoid of complications, but in a simple way that gets the message across almost childlike.

Also, with a limited color pallet, but one that strikes the viewer and audience to wonder and be part of my narrative, on how I interpret my personal views, on People, Events and Nature.

Now I rely on my raw undiluted color pallet of Red, blue, Yellow and Green, not only as a medium to tell a story, but with the sole purpose of creating Art....until otherwise .......Enjoy.

FASHION ILLUSTRATION BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Fashion illustration is fast becoming part of mainstream Art, you find artist who have no connections, to the fashion industry or are the least interested in fashion, creating drawings, illustrations and paintings of fashion wear.

Coat Dress:Ink on paperboard: 100cmx77cm: Miabo Enyadike
I think it is simply, the fact that a lot of Artist are now understanding that Fashion is Art and it tells its own story in a distinct and artistic way.
Also a lot of Artist, are now on digital platforms that allows for them, to create fashion with their Art and also opens doors for them to put there Art out there.
I happen to be one of those Artists, who loves fashion illustrations and fashion as a whole, I take it seriously as an Art form.

I have made quite a lot of Ink paintings, in this regard and I am sharing a few of them with you, in this blog.

You can buy and collect them as well, they serve as fabulous office and home wall decor. Besides, it is an original Art, not a print.

They are all Ink based, and where created on paper boards. They are unframed and make it easy to ship anywhere.

After all, Art is for all to Enjoy!

ART EXHIBITION TO INSPIRE

                                          INSPIRE

These past few weeks, had me preparing and getting ready for one of my most ambitious and revealing Solo exhibitions yet, as an abstract Artist, who creates Art on any material availed to me.
I say ambitious, because I was going to 'Show and tell' to an Art crowd, that is new to my kind of free spirited way of creating Art, where boundaries and text book definition of a fine artist just doesn't exist.
The Art I exhibited, consisted of Ink Art on Paperboard, Newspaper and brown box paper.
Others included, Jeans Sculpture pieces and rope Art and textile Art.
Creating Art from discarded items, is different and relevant, when it is both functional and conveys a message to the audience in its presence.
Jeans Art

It was a tricky and nervous pitch, I made to my audience.
letting them into a very personal journey of mine, on why I create
'Art the way I see it' from within me, in my purest form of interpretation, and a determination to Inspire others, to do same with their Artistic talent.
Inspiring other well established Artist.

Was indeed a tall order.
The reviews where there, the questions where genuine and the surprise was real.
The simplicity in my style of creativity and my color driven Art was called to question several times, but that is why we create Art, to shake things up a bit and in the process get noticed.

I think I achieved that!
I truly enjoyed every conversation, critiquing and ideas, that were exchanged and the support, my 'kind' of Art received in Lagos.
It was indeed a rewarding and educating Journey, and the Press releases where kind and encouraging.
                                       Talking with the press.

I was Inspired by other Artist who attended my exhibition, and Collectors who collected my work, with a huge sigh of relief and gratitude, I say thank you to all and......... Enjoy.
