WHAT ARE YOU COLLECTING? ART AND CRAFT BY MIABO ENYADIKE

I always ask myself, this question anytime I start collecting stuff.

I collect newspapers and old clipboards and create Art.

I collect newspapers and old clipboards and create Art.

What are you collecting?, why are you collecting? because you don't need it or have the space, for it I say to myself

I collect bottles used jars, old vases for Art and craft purposes

I collect bottles used jars, old vases for Art and craft purposes

I always overrule myself and just keep collecting, anything that fascinates me, but with a purpose.

I collect shopping bags and turn them to art.

For it to be fun, there has to be a purpose and a vision, attached to a particular object or stuff that I collect.

I collect old mini mannequins and turn them around.

I love to collect every day Items, that are discarded or sold, in hospice or charity stores.

             I collect discarded wood pieces
                       and create art.

I am overwhelmed, with excitement and the passion to turn these items, around using my aesthetic eye

I collect old shirts, as surface for some of my paintings.

to see how I can create something, with an aesthetic  visual appeal out of these items.

I collect electric wire spool and re-purpose them to tables and bookshelves

So I really don't pick or randomly collect stuff,

I collect used paint buckets and re-purpose them, into storage seats and side stools.

There is a thought process bottom line, it has to be useful, must have an awesome aesthetic appeal and value.

I collect fabric pieces and create craft and Art.

At the end of the day for me, it is called Art or Craft and should inspire.....

I collect postcards and create lasting memories, of the things and places I love.

So what are you collecting and why?.........Enjoy.

WORDS THAT TRANSCENDS HUMANITY ART BY MIABO ENYADIKE

What will I say about these words, they are words that describe events, put a human face on situations and keep us together or make us whole.

We have heard them over and over again, that some of these words even sound corny.  They are words that make us wake up, in the morning and want to fulfill a purpose.

Words that make us want to be better people, role models, that turn these seemingly corny words, into truth that stare people at their faces, making believers and dreamers of them, with the possibilities that lie ahead.

These are really words, that make us feel good about ourselves, guide us when all is lost, lift us up to emotions unknown and comfort us in bad situations.

They explain journeys, events, situations in one word........ These are words, that we can hear, see, feel and hold onto ourselves as we deem fit

the way it relates to us or someone else, they are words that transcends our humanity.....Enjoy

DIGITALLY ALTERED ABSTRACT ART BY MIABO ENYADIKE

I am so bored, totally bored!.

I think I'm suffering, from some type of block flu or something, can I really say or think that?that's the question I  have been asking myself.

It could be artist block, writers block, or total creative block because I just stare at materials, and shut down completely.

This keeps me, occupied with seemingly nothing to do, when there are lots of deadlines to accomplish.

There is an old saying Idleness is the devil's workshop hmmm... then booom! I was introduced to photoscape! by my teenage daughter.

For most middle aged people like myself, nothing is really exciting anymore, life just kicks you in the guts every single day.

This discovery, say what you want was what I needed, after my teenage daughter insisted on rescuing me with photoscape.

        Before             and               After

I have never heard of it before, any digital work, is done for me by a graphic Artist. It was an awesome feeling.

Before                                  and                              After

That awesomeness I was feeling alone, made me want to do something, nothing really much but something to snap me out,of this block and keep the devil out of my workshop certainly.

Well for starters, I decided to play with some of my abstract paintings and digitally alter them,

for poster designs and see how well, it can be applied, in other areas of my design projects.

Well here you have it, what can I say, this is what I came up with.......Enjoy.

MY INTERPRETATION OF THINGS, PLACES AND EVENTS; ART BY MIABO ENYADIKE

I have been away for a while and truly needed a break and some sort of holiday to clear my head and prepare my mind for my next art pursuit.

I do not know, what I would be doing next, but it's fun sometimes to just relax and reflect on what one has done in the past.

And how far, I am prepared to go further into my love for exploring new subjects in art.

Also how to juxtaposition these ideas, with my love for creating sustainable art, using recyclable materials.

That been said, here are some of my past works, that I enjoyed creating and truly felt a connection with the subject matter or the inspiration that led to the birth of these works........Enjoy
