I love flowers, but not gardening I have tried believe me, read all the books and watched all the garden how to shows,  but its just scary.

I just don't possess green fingers!, and the nurturing of plants is just not in me.

I decided to get myself, a garden this spring but a gardener to go with it.

Someone who would love and nurture my garden, so I will stop envying my neighbour's garden......

My neighbour has a beautiful garden, his garden just seems to grow beautifully.

I waited patiently, the other day for him to leave for work, so I could take a picture of one of the beautiful well nurtured flower arrangements or I what do I call it?, in his front garden.

His little pooch, was barking its head off, I just was determined to take a picture.

That is the only way, I will stop drooling every time I walk past his front yard.

I also had to show my gardener, what my vision for my garden is and the different colours of flowers, I want in my garden.

The picture also serves, as the inspiration for this flower illustration.....Enjoy.

FACES UNKNOWN; ABSTRACT ART SERIES; BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

Faces unknown, could not be more appropriate in relations to the migrant and refugee situation going on right now.

FACES UNKNOWN;ABSTRACT ART;INK ON PAPERBOARD;2015;MIABO ENYADIKE.

The situation, is one that is overwhelming sad and desperate.

The sheer number of people and their horrifying experiences, are laid before our eyes on Television and social media daily.

FACES UNKNOWN;ABSTRACT ART;INK ON PAPERBOARD;2015;MIABO ENYADIKE.

It is one, of a huge global crisis.

This abstract series, is a series of silhouettes.I decided to focus on all those, whose lives were lost along the way.

FACES UNKNOWN;ABSTRACT ART;INK ON PAPERBOARD;2015;MIABO ENYADIKE.

They started the journey, fleeing from their war torn countries, with hope of a new life outside terror and uncertainty, but didn't make it.

They died sea bound, or were left to die in refrigerated vans or just died, on their way washed ashore and are unidentified.

No one would ever know, what happened or how it happened. No one or any one at all, will account for them or be held responsible.

They are just unknown faces, of someone's dad, mother, sister, friend, child or brother,

whose hope of a better life away from terror, lack and inhuman conditions was cut short..................Enjoy.
