MY JOHANNESBURG SKYLINE (ABSTRACT ART) BY MIABO ENYADIKE

My kids, drink quite a lot of milk and I am not sure, I know the health implications of excessive milk drinking, I just know that milk drinking in my house hold, borders on excessive!.

I always put away the empty plastic containers, in the recycling bin.  It occurred to me,  that I could still do another abstract art with milk containers.

It is time consuming and I am busy, but I love a challenge and recycling art happens to be my first love.

It felt right,  to create a simple sculpture piece on wood, with the milk  plastic containers representing the skyline, and  the townships in between.

JOHANNESBURG SKYLINE.

This particular work, took quite a large number of milk containers, with an 8ft by 4ft real wood board, thanks to my kids love of milk, I was able to finish it.

What you see is my idea of the Joburg skyline, and the townships in the centre of it all. I cherished  the time spent on this work, the whole thought process, and how it all finally came together...........ENJOY!

FLOWERS, FLOWERS, FLOWERS.(FLOWER ILLUSTRATIONS) BY MIABO ENYADIKE.

Flowers, O' how they brighten and gladden, our hearts and lives. They carry with them, untold joy bringing pleasure and satisfaction to us, knowing that we are indeed appreciated by the bearer of them.

 PEONIES

I may not be a gardener myself, since I have tried and failed on several attempts at  gardening. It does not take away the significance of how this aspect of nature, colours our lives repeatedly.

                                                 FEATHERS OF GRASS

One passion I've had as an artist, is drawing, painting and crafting flowers. Each time I am overwhelmed, by the sheer number of species that exist in our world, it is mind boggling. The vibrant and vivid colours, that come with them is indeed an artist's dream, of a perfect colour wheel or palette. I often wonder what this earth would have been without flowers, if our LORD did not put them in.

CRANES BILL

Where there are no flowers, you find trees where are no trees, for instance the desert, you will still find a cactus plant, or a Joshua tree growing.

CONE FLOWER

They are just amazing and beautiful, and this is what maintains my passion for this subject over and over again. Once again, I am in my elements,  flower illustrations. ENJOY!.

MY GARDEN OF EDEN (ABSTRACT MIXED MEDIA ART.) BY MIABO ENYADIKE

RED VEGETATION

The story of the garden of Eden, in the bible never grows old on this "gal". I always gasp, with pleasure each time I read it. My imagination tends to run wild, on what the place would have looked like, and how it felt, to live in such beauty and serenity devoid of any form of pollution or noise, except for the animals.

 YELLOW VEGETATION

I have, truly on several occasions, stretched my imagination beyond my normal capacity, to envisage what that place, represented visually .Unfortunately, I am limited by my own imagination, about this wonderful place.

  PURPLE VEGETATION

I decided, it is time I put these thoughts, on paper. I used ink, my favourite medium at the moment, and old magazine cut outs, to create an abstract mixed media.

                                                           GREEN VEGETATION

I know in our individual hearts and minds, we all have exclusive images, of the garden of Eden, guess what, these are mine!. ..........ENJOY.

MY VINTAGE PARIS FASHION (INK ON PAPER) BY MIABO ENYADIKE

Style, evolves and always will. What more can I say, I love vintage fashion, and the appeal for me is Marie Antoinette,

the controversial  young wife of Louis Xvi of France, who became queen consort of France and Navarre from  1774-1792.

I am in total agreement with her fashion sense, though this took place long ago in another era.

I simply can't get enough. As my curiosity for the art of fashion deepens, I find myself, in an arena where creativity is key and style is the winner.

In my mind as an established artist, I often pause and ponder,

exactly, what would have been my fashion sense, if I had lived in the Marie Antoinette era in Paris of course........?now you have it!

Well that era is no more, yet these are my illustrations and possible  interpretations. .........ENJOY.
