MY DISCOVERY WITH INK (INK ON PAPER) BY MIABO ENYADIKE

FLOWERS IN A VASE

My new found relationship with coloured ink, is fascinating and am loving every moment of it for now. It affords me the opportunity, to just be myself and apply my thoughts on paper freely, it is absolutely rewarding.

                                                  FLOWERS IN A VASE

My inspiration, comes from the Chinese Zen Art and their use of ink on silk, paper etc. I am amazed at the sheer simplicity of this art form and how the message is conveyed and how old this style is.

                                                     THE FACE(GREEN)

I thought to myself, maybe, just maybe I should try my hands on coloured ink. I decided, no drawings, just ink,and paper and see how it goes.

Its been a journey of new discoveries, as I challenge myself with this new found inspiration.

Expressing my thoughts on paper, with my style, may not have a  semblance directly to the Chinese Zen Art, which is fantastic and breath taking, I am just hanging in there and loving it. I am sharing with you a few of my favourite paintings.

PEONIES IN A VASE

I do not know, how long this love affair with ink would last, I will just savour the moment for now, making sure, I enjoy every time spent on these paintings before I go back to my first love re-cycling art  so I present to you my love affair with ink.    ENJOY......www.artmiabo.com
